York, Maine · Paddleboard Rentals
Rent a board.
We'll meet you at the water.
Bob's Boards delivers stand-up paddleboards straight to your favorite put-in — Wiggly Bridge, Cape Neddick, or the York River Landing — set up and ready before you get there.
Who's Bob?
Local boards, local water.
Bob's Boards is a small paddleboard rental outfit based right in York. We grew up putting in at the same spots we deliver to now — the tidal creek by Wiggly Bridge, the open water off Cape Neddick, the calm stretch at the York River Landing.
Every board goes out clean, checked, and sized to you — leash, paddle, and a PFD included. We drop it at the water, walk you through the basics, and come back for it when you're done.
No trailer, no roof rack, no hassle. Just show up and paddle.
— Bob
Where we deliver
Three put-ins, three moods.
Tell us the spot when you book — we'll be there with your board set up before you arrive.
Wiggly Bridge
York's smallest suspension bridge sits over a quiet tidal creek — flat water and gentle current make this the easiest put-in to start from.
Calm water · Beginner friendly
Cape Neddick
Open coastal water near the Nubble — more exposure, more swell, and some of the prettiest scenery on this stretch of Maine coast.
Open water · Confident paddlers
York River Landing
A wide tidal river with a gentle current — great for longer paddles, wildlife watching, and easy sunset trips.
Tidal river · Sunset paddlesWhy choose us
Real solid boards.
Every board we have is a hard-shell paddleboard, which is a different feel from the blow-up boards.
It glides instead of flexing
A rigid hull holds its shape, so all the power in your stroke goes into moving forward. Inflatable: bends in the middle and eats part of every stroke.
Steadier underfoot
Solid decks sit lower in the water and don't give when you shift your weight, so first-timers get to their feet faster. Inflatable: soft spots and a high, tippy ride.
Holds a line in wind and chop
A deeper hull and a real fin track straight through the afternoon breeze on the York River and the swell off Cape Neddick. Inflatable: rides high and gets pushed sideways.
Nothing to pump, nothing to pop
Your board shows up rigid and ready at the water's edge — no ten minutes on a hand pump, no seams or valves to worry about. Inflatable: pump up, top off, hope it holds.
